As the pressures of daily life melt away, yoga, meditation, nutritious meals, nature immersion, and caring community support you in accessing a whole new level of release, relaxation, and renewal.
Join me March 15–21, 2026, at the beautiful Salvatierra Beachfront Yoga Resort, Playa Coyote, in the Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world’s five renowned Blue Zones.
Salvatierra Beachfront Resort becomes our own community's private Sanctuary for 7 days and 6 nights of Yoga, Meditation, and Mother Nature immersion. Its remote location invites a full release from the pressures of our often hectic, fast-paced life. Our time together features 2 daily Yoga/ Meditation practices, three nutritious meals a day, and a mid-week excursion to the Butterfly Farm. There will be optional workshops sprinkled throughout the week. Add-ons for an extra fee include massages, surf lessons, and horseback riding. The schedule is spacious with plenty of free time to just BE.
The Zen-feel beachfront Cabina rooms are steps away from the water and include a private bathroom, indoor or outdoor shower, overhead fan, and screened-in windows.
There is a desk and a wardrobe, and the rooms are stocked with towels and linens. Accommodation options include single, double, or triple occupancy. Beds are flexibly configured as either Twin or King beds.
The menu is designed by chef Philip Speer, a four-time James Beard nominee, in collaboration with local chefs. Nourishing and delicious meals are prepared with the freshest local ingredients.
No seed oils are used, and there are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Wine and beer are available for purchase.
The retreat begins at check in, before dinner on Sunday March 15th, and ends with our final breakfast on Saturday March 21, before our return shuttle to Liberia airport. During our time together, the schedule includes daily Yoga and Meditation classes, optional Workshops, music and sound offerings, and a midweek excursion to the Butterfly Farm. The schedule and property are spacious, with the intention of slowing down and stretching out!
Salvatierra is located on Playa Coyote, in the Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone, Guanacaste Province.
Flying to Liberia is recommended. Salvatierra is a 2.5 hour drive from the Liberia airport, and a group shuttle from, and back to, the airport is included in your retreat price. Alternatively, you may rent a car or book a shuttle at your own expense.
